Rosalind Franklin – “I am my Mother’s Daughter”

This month Rosalind Franklin and her phenomenal exploration of DNA inspire us to connect our daughters to the great web of kin and legacy to which they belong. 

We will explore and honour the Motherline and encourage you and your daughter to find out as much as you can about your maternal ancestors during the holiday. Help your daughter to find out the names and stories of your Grandmother, Great Grandmother as far back as you can go and please bring this information and any pictures to share in our circle. Our female souls are rooted in our matrilineal legacy, and there is an ancient female wisdom that lives in the depths of the stories from that line. Together with our daughters we will delve deep into ancient, sacred female connections so they can learn who and where they are from. 

Join us in circle for meditation, thought provoking discussion and engaging activities inspired by Rosalind Franklin, Scientist best known for her role in one of the greatest scientific discoveries of all time: the structure of DNA.
