Price: £140 (7 week term)

£25 per session for drop ins and tasters

What to expect:

During our sessions we respond to the seasons and the weather and we plan sessions to compliment what nature has to offer us. In Autumn we study the colours we can observe in nature and make ample time for painting and doing leaf rubbings. We harvest vegetables and the long awaited apple eating time commences. The children have been so patient as to not pick the apples from the fruit trees during the year, we then celebrate by eating apple pie, pressing apple juice and reading folklore stories about the magic of this happy fruit.

Some weeks, we go on a little walk around the allotments behind to do some gentle pond dipping and to see all the activity happening with the harvesting of pumpkins and squash.

Every session is slightly different, but we always start with a good morning circle when children can practice their speaking and listening skills as the children are invited to tell their news of the week.

We are forest school leaders but we also work with a Montessori approach, incorporating Practical Life, Language, Sensorial work, Grace and Courtesy and much more.
