What to expect:
During the week we visit our allotment patch that is adjacent to the forest school, planting out the potatoes we have been chitting. We will also plant out some Kale if the risk of frost has passed. We meet each morning in the meadow and begin the day with a Welcoming Circle.
There will be structured activities each day, but no child is required to partake if they would rather play. We will have staff to facilitate forest school free play and the more structured tasks.
We will be teaching the group the Japanese form of paper marbling, called ‘Suminagashi‘. It is a beautiful meditative technique which creates some stunning designs.
Every camp is designed with each individual child’s needs in mind, so we look forward to your booking so we can start prepping our activities based on your child’s interest and the season of Spring!
Please don’t hesitate to email hello@meadow.education if you have any questions. If you are struggling financially, please get in touch and we can offer a discount in some situations.
Lots of love,
Laura, Beth and all the team!
