Children’s Craft Club: Festive Edition’21

Dates: Monday 20th December - Wednesday 23rd December 2021

Times: 10am-1pm

Price: £30 per child, per 3 hour session.

Availability: We have 10 places available, but we recommend booking soon to avoid disappointment as we usually are fully booked.

Location: Martin Primary School, Forest School area, N2

Age range: 4-9 year olds. (We welcome children outside this age range if they know us already and you have checked with Laura as we need to keep within legal ratios for younger children). We also ask that you get in touch prior to booking if your child as any additional needs and/or behaviour issues so we can make sure that this will be the right environment for you child.

Sibling discount: When booking a place for siblings, you will receive a discount if you book both at the same time.

What to expect:

Crafting around the fire with natural materials such as felt, clay, berries, pine cones and salt dough to make simple garlands and tree decorations. This is a process focused workshop - so expect your child to make what they wanted to, rather than what we would find aesthetically pleasing. We encourage creative independence, but we are working as a group and will be on hand to help design and make their creations.

We will have a camp fire and we will have hot apple juice and hot chocolate around the fire as we sing winter inspired songs as well as take turns to read festive poetry.

The children will also have an opportunity for some active games and free play to burn off some energy and allow parents to have a bit of a breather in the run up to Christmas Day and the public holidays.

Every camp is designed with each individual child’s needs in mind, so we look forward to your booking so we can start prepping our activities based on your child’s interest and the season of Winter!

This is an event where children may be dropped off, but if a parent wants to stay to settle or accompany their child, that is fine as long as you let us know beforehand.

PS All our staff our DBS checked, there is always a trained First Aider on site and we adhere to all of Ofsted’s guidelines. We operate in a Covid secure way and we must ask that if your child shows any symptoms that they do not attend and you will be given a full refund.
