Free warm apple juice and sugar-free banana loaf will be served. Please note that this event is open to all children of any religion or from non-religious family, we will not be focusing on Christmas but instead on the beauty of Winter.

What better way to get into the celebratory mood of Winter’s festivities than by getting crafty and making a natural wreath. Each child will go home with a wreath ready to hang - we will help any children that require assistance and parents also have the option of staying to craft with their child. Or drop off, if you wish to sneak away for a well deserved cuppa in peace.

We will be using beautiful firs, pine, eucalyptus, rosehips and pine cones to create our very own wreath to hang in a door or window. It is well documented that craft and handiwork is a fantastic activity to help improve one’s handwriting skills and abilities. It is a lost tradition that is making a resurgence as we once again look to nature for her wisdom and beauty.

Time permitting, we will learn a song about Winter and sketch an illustration to accompany the coming season.
